How Much Does Shipping Cost?

Because we are a small, family run business that hasn't of yet shipped high volumes of shipments; we don't quite qualify to benefit from discounted shipping rates. We hope one day to be able to qualify for those discounts and in turn, pass that discount onto you.  In the mean time, the cost list below reflects a shipping charge in which discounts are applied as Dragons Heart Quilt Shop absorbs some of the shipping costs for our online customers! 

All domestic orders receive FREE SHIPPING with a minimum purchase of $150.00 before taxes.

How are orders packaged for Shipping?

 

Using our best judgement, we will use the best package suitable for your purchase.  This may be an envelope, box or poly-mailer. One thing is for certain, it will be packaged with love from us here at DHQS!

 

What are my options for receiving my order?

 

  • Pickup at the store for those local to us.

  • Shipping via Canada Post

Refund Policy

What is your refund policy for online orders?

We love that you've shopped our small business, but we also understand that some products just don't work!  If you'd like to make a return, here is how!   Unless Dragons Heart Quilt Shop is at fault, customers will be responsible for the cost of shipping to return goods.  

If you receive damaged goods, please send us an e-mail to dragonsheartquiltshop@gmail.com with pictures of the items and an explanation of the damaged goods and we will submit a claim with our shipper.  We will send out a replacement as soon as possible.   Please DO NOT ship damaged goods back to us, unless requested to do so. 

Can I return fabric?

There are NO refunds or exchanges for cut fabrics.  There is NO refunds or exchanges for custom kits.  If you discover a damage piece of fabric, please send us an e-mail to dragonsheartquiltshop@gmail.com with pictures of the items and an explanation of the damaged goods and we will submit a claim with our shipper.  We will send out a replacement as soon as possible.   Please DO NOT ship damaged goods back to us, unless requested to do so. 

 

Can I return notions, patterns, or books?

 

Any notions, in their original packaging, unopened may be returned within 14 business days of purchase with the original receipt.  You will be given store credit or a gift card.  

Due to copyright laws and issues, we WILL NOT accept the return of patterns and books.  

 

What if I order something and your inventory is wrong?

 

​We try our best to keep our inventory as accurate as possible.  However, mistakes do happen.  When they do, we will notify you as soon as possible via e-mail or possibly phone to offer you a substitution or the opportunity to wait until the item is restocked. 

If we are unable to fulfill the ordered item, a refund will be issued. 

Do I get a refund if my class/retreat is cancelled?

Classes and retreats will be cancelled if the minimum participants isn't met one week prior to the class date.  In this case, a refund will be issued within 7 business days. 

Should covid restrictions require us to cancel, you will receive a full refund within 7 business days. 

Should you chose to cancel your registration for an event, class or retreat, 50% of the registration fee will be credited to you.  However, you may transfer your registration to another person for 100% refund after payment is received from that participant. This is your responsibility to find someone to transfer your registration to.  And you will be required to notify us as soon as possible with that persons name and contact information.
