Join Susan Madu; Modern Blended Quilts during this 4 hour workshop, where she will show you how to make the "Arrows" quilt with  repetitive blocks using the Split Rects tool.   Finished lap quilt size 64" x 72"  

This 4 hour workshop demonstrates how to work with the Studio 180 Split Rects tool - how obtain smooth, crisp seams - will be recorded and loaded to DROPBOX for your viewing within 48 hours of the class.  The recording is copyrighted and is not to be shared. Recording will be available for at least 2 weeks post workshop.   

Required Fabrics(for Lap Quilt):

 Fabric 1 - 2 yards (1.8 m)  

Fabric 2 - 3 yards (2.6 m) 

Fabric 3 - 1 yard (.9 m) 

Fabric 4 - 1 yard (.9 m) 

Binding - Fabric 4 - 2/3 yard (.6 m) 

Batting & Backing - 4 1/4 yard (3.8 m)

Sewing Supplies / Notions - Thread - Clips - Acorn Easy Press Pen (various Acorn products on our website) - Sewing machine - cutting mat - rotary cutter - rulers (8 ½” x 24” or 6” x 24” and a 12 ½” square)

Materials Included:No materials are included in workshop fee.

Requirements:Working sewing machine. Ability to login to Zoom and have a device near your sewing machine and cutting area. Access to DROPBOX via link (No DROPBOX account is required). Purchase of the pattern "Arrows" and Studio 180 Split Rec tool - both available at Watergirl Quilt Co.

Instructor Bio:Susan is a retired chartered accountant and a passionate creator and quilter. She is never without a sketchbook or some project in her hands. Susan designs and teaches under the "Modern Blended Quilts" banner. A central theme of her patterns is blending together elements of traditional and modern quilting. Take your traditional stash and blend it up modern with modern textures, solids and styles for stunning results.
